Freediving Season 2026: Courses Resume in La Ciotat Under Ideal Conditions
The start of the 2026 season confirms the appeal of La Ciotat and our freediving center for the sport. Since our first outings at sea, we have had the pleasure of welcoming several freediving clubs from various regions of France for introductory, advanced, and seasonal training courses.
We have also guided numerous individual freedivers, from beginners looking to complete their first freediving course to experienced practitioners eager to improve their technique and comfort at depth.
As every year, local freedivers are also present for their regular sea training sessions. Their loyalty allows us to create a real dynamic around freediving in La Ciotat, with a spirit of sharing and progression that is the strength of our school.
This diversity of profiles, skill levels, and backgrounds contributes to making each outing a unique experience, in an exceptional setting between the Mediterranean, a friendly atmosphere, and a shared passion for freediving.
Progress at all levels
Throughout the courses and outings, we have seen many participants reach new milestones: first descents on a cable, improved equalization, greater relaxation, increased confidence in the water, and the achievement of personal goals.
These successes remind us that freediving is above all an activity of individual progression where everyone advances at their own pace, respecting their own sensations and safety.
A season that continues
This early season review is very encouraging, and we thank all the clubs, trainees, members, and partners who have already joined us this year.
Summer has only just begun, and many more freediving courses, training outings, and courses are scheduled in the coming weeks. We look forward to continuing this fantastic 2026 season and welcoming new freediving enthusiasts to La Ciotat.
