Observing the fish, the underwater landscapes in fins, mask, snorkel is good, but being able to approach them, observe them under water is better! We will offer you during this apnea baptism an initiation to apnea diving to be able to descend without worries in the first meters of depth without a bottle, just with relaxation and great inspiration with diving!
This activity will take place in our freediving school in La Ciotat, between Marseille and Toulon. You will be supervised by professional apnea instructors. The baptism of snorkeling is accessible to all from 12 years old. To share with friends or family, it's even better.
Course of your baptism of apnea
You will be welcomed at 2 p.m. by our instructor. After a technical brief on compensation, breath and equipment, we will equip you with a wetsuit, fins, mask, snorkel and weight belt. We have all sizes for everyone.
We will then embark on our boat named RESPIRO to sail to Ile Verte 10 min. Once the shelter area has been found, your apnea baptism will begin more concretely.
We will set up a technical workshop consisting of a rope so that you can learn freediving: relaxation, descent, compensation,... The baptism of apnea will conclude with an exploration on a spot to take advantage of what you have learned to learn to descend and observe marine flora and fauna.
